I recently painted a present depicting Hunstanton Country Club for a couple who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. I have recently received an email from the couple saying:
Dear Brenda,
Just wanted to tell you how thrilled we were to receive the beautiful painting of The Country Club our family gave us for our Golden Wedding. It is the place where Eddie and I first met, where we held our wedding reception and lived and worked for 8 years together of our married life. We have so many good memories. I would like to thank you for the accuracy and precision you created in what my daughter tells me was a crumpled old picture she gave to you.
It is in pride of place in our lounge so everyone can admire it.
