Brenda Barratt lived on the outskirts of Lindfield for many years and has been a prolific local watercolour artist specialising in house and school portraits, and recently golf club portraits.

Mid Sussex Golf Club has commissioned me to paint a portrait of The Final Furlong. Andrew Smith, Lee Andrews with George Cox and his wife Phee drove me around the course in a buggy so that I could absorb the course and have an idea of what they wanted me to achieve in my painting.
The 7th hole with the “V” was hard to see at first, but suddenly, once in your sights, you cannot miss it.
It was decided to use this tee for one of the two vignettes. The 14th ran a close second and so I captured both.
The downs, the club house and the 18th were the clear winners for the main portrait.
I do hope you enjoy owning my painting.

Placing an Order

For the large size, the size of the print is 13½” x 10½” in a mount of 20” x 16”.
If you opt for a frame this makes the overall size 21” by 17”.
For the small size, the size of the print is 9½” x 6½” in a mount of 16” x 12”.
If you opt for a frame this makes the overall size 17” by 13”.
