Balcombe Lake

This painting was commissioned by a young man as a Christmas present for his girlfriend.

Between us it took some time to get the right picture. Firstly he wanted the lake with the seat they both sat on, but it has just recently been removed. I offered to paint one back in, but he then began rethinking his commission. What made Balcombe Lake distinctive from any other? A few things do make it stand out from others nearby but he chose this old fallen tree that has been left there for years and is quite distinctive.

Placing an Order

To place an order you will need to select which option you prefer from the dropdown below.

For the large size, the size of the print is 13½” x 10½” in a mount of  20” x 16”.
If you opt for a frame this makes the overall size 21” by 17”.
For the small size, the size of the print is 9½” x 6½” in a mount of  16” x 12”.
If you opt for a frame this makes the overall size 17” by 13”.
